USAPAC is a growing international business development and government relations business connecting U.S. companies with opportunities in Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
n
We work with businesses seeking to enter, establish, expand or pursue opportunities in the Australian market, with particular interests across government, defence, infrastructure, industry and other strategic sectors.
n
This isn't a traditional EA position.

Approximately 70% of the role will focus on business development and 30% on executive support. You'll play an important role in identifying potential U.S. clients, researching opportunities, initiating conversations and keeping our international business development pipeline moving.

n
Diary, email, travel and meeting coordination for the Managing Director
n
General executive and administrative support as required
n
You won't initially be expected to independently close major consulting or representation agreements.
n
Your job is to identify strong prospects, create opportunities, secure conversations and support the Managing Director through the process of converting those opportunities into USAPAC clients.
n
Who We're Looking For
n
We're looking for someone who combines excellent organisation with genuine commercial instinct.
n
You may currently be an Executive Assistant, Business Development Coordinator, Account Executive, Sales Coordinator, Partnerships Coordinator or similar professional looking for a flexible role with considerable scope to grow.
n
Ideally, you'll bring:
n
Strong understanding of U.S. business culture and the American market
n
Strong understanding of Australian Government in particular at the Federal level

A professional and polished communication style
n
A proactive, commercially minded approach
n
An interest in international business, government, defence, trade or market entry
n
Experience in business development, professional services, defence industry, government, international trade or executive support would be advantageous.
n
The Opportunity
n
This is an opportunity to join USAPAC at an early stage of its international growth.
n
You'll work directly with the Managing Director and have significant visibility across the business rather than being confined to traditional administrative duties.
n
For the right person, there is substantial scope for the position to grow in hours, responsibility, remuneration and international business development involvement as USAPAC's U.S. client base expands.
n
What We Offer
n
$40–$50 per hour + super
n
***** hours per week initially
n
Additional incentives for self-originated opportunities that become signed USAPAC clients

Flexible scheduling around agreed business requirements
n
Direct exposure to international business development
n

n
Our office is based in Margate on the Redcliffe Peninsula, approximately 30km north of Brisbane CBD.
