Architecture Operations and Governance Manager
n
Reporting to the Head of Architecture, the Architecture Operations & Governance Manager is responsible for leading the governance, compliance and operational excellence of WorkCover Queensland's Architecture function. This role drives effective decision-making, architecture standards, governance processes and performance reporting, ensuring the Architecture practice delivers measurable value and remains aligned to organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architecture governance forums, processes and decision-making activities.
n
Manage the Architecture Review Board, including planning, tracking and communication of outcomes.
n
Maintain architecture standards, principles, policies and patterns.
n
Monitor governance performance, compliance, risks and improvement opportunities.
n
Manage architecture repositories, artefacts, roadmaps and decision records.
n
Deliver executive reporting, dashboards, scorecards and governance insights.
n
Develop and track architecture metrics and performance measures.
n
Coordinate operational planning, governance calendars and practice activities.
n
Improve documentation, templates and governance artefacts.
n
Support capability uplift, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Architecture team.

About You
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
n
Experience working within or alongside an Enterprise Architecture function.
n
Strong understanding of architecture governance,



compliance and review processes.
n
Experience supporting Architecture Review Boards or similar governance forums.
n
Strong reporting, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
n
Experience developing dashboards, scorecards and executive-level reporting.
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities, governance activities and deadlines.
n
Solid written communication skills and attention to detail.
n
Highly organised with strong planning and coordination capabilities.
n
Passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence and effective governance.
n
