Description:
n
Due to continued success, RAMS are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join the team operating out of our NATA accredited Berrimah facility.
n
Your mechanical skills, knowledge and experience will directly contribute to the value that RAM Services provide our clients in the energy, marine and infrastructure industries.
n
You will be trusted to work with autonomy on a wide variety of equipment, and provided with ongoing training, support and opportunities for career development.
n
This is a Darwin based, residential full-time role, working Monday - Friday with some remote travel at times.
n

Good mechanical diagnostic skills
n
Service, repair and testing of industrial compressors, pumps and blowers.
n
Service, repair and testing of pressure relief and/or safety valves.
n
Flange management and alignment.
n
n

Required Qualifications and Tickets:
n
n
Mechanical Trade (Cert III Engineering) or an equivalent recognised trade certificate
n
Current Drivers Licence
n
Nationally recognised Construction Card (White Card)
n
Full Australian work rights
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Familiarity with quality assured processes such as NATA and ISO standards
n
Hydrostatic Testing of pressure vessels and hoses, calibration of pressure gauges and torque wrenches
n
Compressor servicing experience
n
Senior First Aid (obtained in the past 2 years),
n
Working at Heights
n
Elevated Work Platform
n
Confined Space Entry
n
Forklift
n
Breathing Apparatus
n
n
Essential:
n
n
Reliable transport
n
Able to pass industry medicals and Drug and Alcohol screening
n
Criminal history check
n
n
