About the role As a Registered Nurse , you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to oncology and haematology patients .
Ward 35 is a 30-bed oncology, haematology and palliative care ward, caring for patients throughout their healthcare journey, from initial diagnosis and complex treatments to acute admissions and end-of-life care.
You will work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team , delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and clinical expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace.
Key responsibilities Providing high-quality nursing care to oncology and haematology patients .
Commitment to organisation's service ethos through the provision of excellent Oncology service Act in accordance with the standards of behaviour outlined in the SJGHC Code of Conduct document.
Maintain and develop clinical skills in order to care for patients appropriate to level of competence.
Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively.
Adhere to and support hospital policies, procedures and standards.




Act as the patient's advocate and facilitate the rights of individuals.
Provide patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care.
Prioritise workload using resources effectively.
Provide supervision to Enrolled Nurses, students and PCAs as required.
Your skills and experience You will have a registration with Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Registered Nurses with minimum 2 years clinical and chemotherapy administration is preferred with Antineoplastic Drug and Administration Course completed.

We can offer Casual Rate: $***** to $***** per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation Casual positions, working across all shifts with hours negotiable Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment,
