The facility provides acute, sub-acute, mental health, and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to approximately ******* people in the southern Tasmanian region.
They offer a comprehensive range of general and specialty medical and surgical services are provided including many state-wide services such as cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, extensive burns treatment, hyperbaric medicine, neonatal and paediatric intensive care and high-risk obstetrics.
The Role Oversight of a State-wide delivery of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology service, to the Tasmanian community.
Promote patient-centred care,



including explicit communication and empathetic engagement with patients and families Contribute to teaching and supervision of Junior Doctors Participate in on call roster Engage in quality assurance activities, peer review, and continuous improvement initiatives Sound knowledge of current specialty practice in diagnostic radiology.
Demonstrated ability to provide specialty services as defined by allocated clinical privileges.
Recent experience in an acute hospital setting.
