Job Description: Prepare surfaces to be painted by washing, sanding, scraping, filling cracks and repairing minor defects.
Apply paints, varnishes, stains, sealants and protective coatings to internal and external surfaces using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
Select, mix and match paints and materials according to project specifications and client preferences.
Deliver interior painting services for homes and commercial spaces, ensuring clean lines and quality finishes.
Deliver exterior painting services, enhancing curb appeal and protecting building structures.
Perform specialised finishes including colour washes, faux finishes or decorative techniques as required.
Restore and refinish wooden surfaces, decks and fences with staining or protective coatings.
Ensure all painting jobs are completed to high-quality standards within timeframe and budget.
Maintain painting equipment, tools and materials, including proper cleaning and storage.
Communicate professionally with clients to interpret requirements and provide advice on colours, textures and finishes.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures at all times, maintaining a clean and safe work workplace.
Uphold company standards of workmanship, professionalism, courtesy and respect for client property.
Qualifications amp; Experience: Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent trade qualification)

Proficiency with technology and comfort using software to manage work.
Ability to work as part of a team and mentor junior team members.
