Smile On Camp Hill is looking for a confident, organised and people-focused Practice Manager to lead our team of 6 clinicians and 6 auxiliary staff.
n
This is not a behind-the-scenes office role.
n
We're looking for someone who wants to be the face of the practice - visible, approachable and hands-on at reception - while taking ownership of the people, systems and day-to-day operations that make a great dental practice tick.
n
ABOUT SMILE ON

Smile On is a growing Australian dental network with 50+ clinics nationwide - and we're continuing to expand.

We believe our Practice Managers should be able to focus on their practice, their people and their patients, which is why you'll have the backing of a broader support network.
n
You'll work closely with your Regional Manager and have access to dedicated HR, Marketing and Accounts teams to support you along the way.
n
You're leading the practice - but you're not expected to do it alone!
n
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
n
No two days will look exactly the same. You'll take ownership of:
n
n
Being the face of the practice and supporting reception and patient enquiries
n
Creating an exceptional patient experience from the moment patients walk through the door
n




Overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic
n
Managing clinician schedules and identifying opportunities to maximise appointment books
n
Team rostering and ensuring appropriate coverage
n
Leading, mentoring and supporting your team
n
Driving accountability and maintaining a positive, professional culture
n
Stock management, ordering and inventory oversight
n
Implementing Smile On systems, processes and protocols
n
Ensuring the team remains up to date with current practice protocols and standards
n
Working closely with your Regional Manager on practice performance, team development and opportunities for growth
n

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
n
We're not simply looking for someone with "Practice Manager" on their CV.
n
We're looking for someone who gets dental.
n
Someone who notices the gap in tomorrow's appointment book and wants to fix it. Someone who can jump onto reception when things get busy, support a team member who needs guidance, keep clinicians running smoothly and still make sure every patient feels genuinely welcomed.

You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Previous experience within a dental practice
n
Strong reception and patient coordination skills
n
Experience leading or mentoring a team
n




Excellent organisation and attention to detail
n
Confidence managing multiple clinicians and busy appointment books
n
A proactive mindset - you see what needs doing and make it happen
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to have respectful but accountable conversations
n
A genuine desire to build a great team and a successful practice
n
n
Current Practice Managers are absolutely encouraged to apply - but so are experienced Dental Receptionists, Treatment Coordinators, Clinical Coordinators or 2ICs who are ready to take that next step.
