An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a well-established not-for-profit organisation with a strong community focus and purpose-driven culture.

This is a key role within the finance team, providing high-quality financial reporting, commercial analysis and strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.

About the role
n
Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Preparing accurate and timely monthly management reports and financial statements
n
Leading month-end close processes, including journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
n
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
n
Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decisions
n
Partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to understand and improve financial performance
n




Monitoring budgets, expenditure and financial performance against targets
n
Supporting finance process improvements and broader commercial initiatives
n
Preparing financial information and presentations for senior management
n
n
About you
n
n
CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
n
Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting
n
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
n
Strong commercial and analytical skills
n
Excellent stakeholder communication and business partnering skills
n
High attention to detail and a proactive approach
n
Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
n
