A Tier 1 leading Australian construction group is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the project team delivering a major $135M+ specialist healthcare development in inner Brisbane. Currently under construction, the project comprises a 10-storey, 13,000m2 specialist healthcare facility incorporating day surgery, radiology, radiation oncology, cancer care, allied health and specialist consulting facilities. This is a technically complex, services-intensive project offering excellent exposure through construction, fit-out, commissioning and handover.

The Role
n
Reporting to the Project Manager / Senior Contract Administrator, responsibilities will include:
n
n
Trade procurement, tender packages and detailed Scope of Works
n
Subcontract establishment and administration
n
Progress claims, variations and payment schedules
n
Cost reporting, commitments, budgets and forecasting
n
Identification of commercial, contractual and scope risks
n
Commercial management of allocated trade packages
n
Liaison with subcontractors, consultants, design and site teams
n
Coordination of services, specialist healthcare and architectural packages
n




Supporting project delivery through to completion and close-out
n
Providing guidance to project Cadets where required
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Approximately 4+ years' Contract Administration experience
n
Degree or Associate Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline
n
Major commercial building experience
n
Strong subcontract procurement and administration capability
n
Experience with variations, progress claims, cost reporting and forecasting
n
Robust commercial, communication and organisational skills
n
Healthcare, hospital, laboratory or other services-intensive project experience highly regarded, but not essential
n
