About the Role
n
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine HMO (Registrar level) for a short-term locum placement at a major regional referral health service in Wangaratta, VIC. This contract runs from 20 to 23 July ****, covering night shifts (10:30pm - 8:30am). You will join a well-supported emergency department within a health service of approximately 250 beds, gaining exposure to a broad and varied case mix in a collaborative regional environment.

Assess and manage undifferentiated emergency presentations across all acuity levels during overnight shifts
n
Provide high-quality clinical care within a busy regional emergency department
n
Manage acute medical, surgical, paediatric and trauma presentations as part of the ED team
n
Collaborate with senior medical staff, nursing and allied health across a multidisciplinary workplace
n
Support referral and transfer coordination for patients requiring metropolitan or tertiary-level care
n
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

About You
n
n
AHPRA registered Medical Practitioner
n
Currently practising at HMO/Registrar level in Emergency Medicine
n
Confident managing undifferentiated and high-acuity presentations overnight
n
Works effectively both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
n
Eligible to work in Australia
n
