About the Role As a Property Underwriter, you will manage and grow a portfolio of property risks while strengthening relationships with key broker partners. This market-facing role requires confidence in engaging with brokers, providing underwriting guidance, and representing the agency at industry events, presentations, and conferences.

Duties & Responsibilities
n
n
Underwrite property risks within your delegated authority
n
Build, manage, and maintain solid broker relationships




n
Provide market-facing support via phone, email, and in-person meetings
n
Attend industry functions, broker visits, and conferences
n
Handle new business, renewals, and endorsements efficiently
n
Offer transparent, timely, and commercially sound advice to brokers
n
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
n
Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and technical underwriting
n

We Are Looking For Someone With:
n
n
Minimum 2 years' underwriting experience in property, SME or related lines
n
Strong relationship-building skills with brokers and stakeholders
n
Confident communication skills both over the phone and face-to-face
n
Market-facing experience (or a strong desire to step into that environment)
n
Ability to balance risk selection, service, and commercial decision-making
n
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
n
Team-orientated approach with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes
