About the Butcher role
n You will work as a Butcher in the supermarket butchery department, preparing fresh meat for retail customers. Day to day, the Butcher job includes:

Breaking down beef, lamb, pork and chicken into retail ready cuts
n
Trimming,



slicing and packaging fresh meat so it presents well in the cabinet
n
Setting up and maintaining butchery displays and labels
n
Rotating stock, checking dates and minimising waste
n
Keeping the Butcher area clean, safe and compliant with food safety rules
n
Helping your team across the meat and fresh food sections when needed
n
n
About you
n You may be a qualified Butcher, experienced Retail Butcher, or a robust meat worker looking to keep growing in butchery.
n You will have:
n Good knife skills and genuine interest in Butcher work
n
n
Understanding of basic food hygiene and meat handling
n
Reliability and fitness to lift, bend and stand during your shift
n
Positive attitude, good with customers and happy to work in a small team
