The Opportunity
n
Reporting to senior members of the Corporate Development team, you will play a key role in the evaluation and execution of M&A; and strategic growth initiatives. This is a genuine transaction-focused position offering exposure to the full deal lifecycle, from opportunity assessment and financial analysis through to due diligence, transaction execution and investment approval.

Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Building and maintaining detailed financial models and valuation analyses
n
Supporting the assessment of acquisition, investment and partnership opportunities
n
Coordinating due diligence processes with internal stakeholders and external advisers
n
Preparing Investment Committee, Executive and Board papers
n
Conducting commercial and strategic analysis to support investment decisions
n




Assisting with transaction execution and post-acquisition integration activities
n
n
About You
n
The successful candidate will present with 2-5 years of foundational corporate finance experience gained within corporate development, investment banking, professional services (deals) or unlisted asset investment.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
n
Experience supporting M&A;, investment or strategic transactions
n
Excellent commercial acumen and analytical capability
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
n
A degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline is required. CA, CFA or equivalent qualifications will be viewed favourably.
