About the role:
n
Hygain is looking for an experienced Truck Driver with a Multi Combination Licence to join our warehouse team on a full-time basis. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are delivered to the highest quality. This role will require you to deliver equine feed locally and long distance in Victoria.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Safe operation of a MC truck for deliveries across Victoria both locally and regionally
n
Capability to drive across varying road conditions
n
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle meets road safety standards
n
Always Comply with Hygain's safety standards and CoR requirements
n
Communicate effectively with the operations team and clients, providing updates as required
n
Manage required documentation, including logbooks and delivery paperwork
n




Report any issues or incidents to the management team promptly
n
n
About you
n
To succeed in the role, you will require:
n
n
Current unrestricted MC licence is essential
n
3+ years MC driving experience
n
Solid driving history and ability to work autonomously
n
A good understanding of Chain of Responsibility
n
Robust knowledge of road transport legislation
n
Basic mechanical knowledge
n
Familiarity with Victorian roads
n
Have excellent verbal and written skills
n
Be reliable and motivated to succeed
n
Be physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks with the ability to lift up to 20kg
n
Can do attitude with a team focus
n
A forklift licence is desirable
n
Above award rate
