Position Purpose:
n To build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues while supporting the delivery of high-quality educational programs and ensuring the smooth, compliant operation of the room under the guidance of the Room Leader.
n

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Build and maintain positive relationships with children,



families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children
n
Contribute to the educational program under the direction of the room leader to provide a high-quality program for all children
n
Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures under the direction of the room leader/responsible person
n
n
Selection Criteria:

Demonstrated knowledge of:
n
n
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) V2.0
n
Education and Care Services National Law
n
Education and Care Services National Regulations
n
Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy ****)
n
Child Protection legislation
n
n
Qualifications and Requirements:
n
n
Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA), or:
n
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), or:
n
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
n
Current approved First Aid qualification
n
Current ACECQA approved anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
n
Current approved CPR training
n
National Child Safety Training
n
Approved Child Protection Training - Keeping Children and Young People Safe Training (ACT)
n
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration.
n
Eligibility to work in Australia.
n
Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the school.
n
