Job Description
Experienced Builder, Carpenter, Tradesperson or Fence Installer

We are seeking an experienced Builder, Carpenter, Tradesperson or Fence Installer to join us on a full-time basis as Team Supervisor. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll take ownership of running your own crew and jobs day to day, from site setup through to handover. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with solid trade experience who can get the best out of a team on-site.

Key responsibilities
n
Supervise Fencing Installers, labourers and related crew on-site
n
Plan and manage the day-to-day running of jobs, including site plans, materials and equipment
n
Ensure the security and safety of personnel, equipment and worksites at all times
n
Maintain required documentation including SWMS, SDS, pre-starts, hazard reports, daily diaries and PPE records
n
Check equipment regularly for repair and maintenance
n
Maintain a clean, organised and compliant job site
n
Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project satisfaction
n
Support the performance and development of Installers and labourers
n
Identify and resolve on-site issues, and assist with incident investigations when required
n
About you
n
Proven experience as a Builder, Carpenter, Tradesperson or Fence Installer, with a solid track record of quality work
n
Experience supervising a team, or ready to step up into a leadership role
n




Comprehensive knowledge of fencing materials and installation techniques (or transferable construction skills)
n
Ability to read site plans and measure/mark installation areas accurately
n
Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and industry compliance requirements
n
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
n
Ability to work unsupervised and manage competing priorities
n
Willingness to travel and work away from home at times
n
Required: current driver's licence and White Card
n
