About the Centres of Excellence (CoE)
n
The TAFE NSW Centres of Excellence bring together the Construction Centre of
n Excellence, the Manufacturing Centres of Excellence, and the Institute of
n Applied Technology (IAT) Digital, a National Centre of Excellence, to support
n industry-led innovation, workforce development and skills excellence across
n priority sectors.
n
Through partnerships with industry, government, training providers and higher
n education institutions, the Centres develop and deliver industry-aligned
n education, applied research, and innovative workforce solutions that respond to
n current and emerging skills needs. Leveraging contemporary learning
n environments, advanced technologies and strong stakeholder networks, the Centres
n help build the capabilities required for the jobs of today and the future.

About the Role
n
As the Senior Manager Centre of Excellence Digital, you will play a key
n leadership role in shaping the future of digital skills education across NSW.
n Leading a high-performing team within the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT)
n Digital, you will drive educational excellence, industry engagement and
n innovation to ensure programs remain aligned to emerging technologies, workforce
n needs and learner expectations. Working closely with industry, universities,
n government and community partners, you will oversee the delivery of impactful
n training solutions, foster applied research and lead strategic initiatives that
n strengthen digital capability across the sector.
n
The successful candidate must have a willingness and ability to travel to the
n Centre of Excellence campuses as required. The CoE Digital team is based at
n Meadowbank campus.
n
About You
n
You are an accomplished education and industry leader with significant
n experience in digital technologies and a robust track record of delivering
n innovative, industry-responsive learning outcomes. You bring expertise in
n leading multidisciplinary teams, building influential partnerships and driving
n strategic change in complex environments. Passionate about developing future
n talent, you use data, insights and stakeholder collaboration to enhance learner
n outcomes and organisational performance. Your ability to navigate emerging
n trends in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, data and digital technologies,
n combined with your commitment to excellence, positions you to lead with impact
n in a rapidly evolving landscape.
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
Degree in a relevant discipline OR equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
n
Demonstrated educational leadership in VET and/or Higher Education teaching, learning and assessment practice.
n
Significant experience and demonstrated expertise within the relevant industry sector.
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Experience influencing and contributing to state and/or national education, workforce development, or digital capability reform agendas.
n
Demonstrated thought leadership in digital capability, digital transformation, emerging technologies, or future workforce development.
n
Proven ability to build and leverage strategic partnerships across industry, government and education sectors to achieve system-wide outcomes.
n
Demonstrated understanding of future skills requirements and the impact of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation and cybersecurity,
on workforce capability and training delivery.
