Job Description
Fairlea Aged Care @ Penshurst with Chinese culture is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Penshurst, NSW on a part-time basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to our elderly residents, ensuring their health, safety and wellbeing at all times.

What you'll be doing
n
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care needs of our residents
n
Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners
n
Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, and escalating any concerns to the appropriate team members
n
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
n
Providing emotional support and companionship to our residents and their families
n
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
n
Supervising and supporting the work of care assistants
n
What we're looking for
n
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
n
Demonstrated experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting
n
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and the wider care team
n
Reliable, caring, compassionate and patient-centred approach to care
n
Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and technology
n
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
n
Must have Australian work authorisation with no visa sponsorship available
n
