Communications Engineer

Location: Brisbane

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 pa + Super

Brief Intro A specialist communications business is seeking a Communications Engineer to design, deploy and commission wireless and IP communications systems. This is a hands-on role covering both engineering design and field-based delivery.

Key Skills/Experience
n
n
5+ years' experience with wireless, fixed or critical communications networks.
n
Private LTE/5G and digital radio systems including P25, DMR or TETRA.
n
Solid IP networking skills, ideally Cisco CCNA level or above.
n
Experience with system design, configuration, commissioning, FAT and SAT.
n
Hands-on field commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
n
Experience producing design packages, ITPs and acceptance documentation.
n
Background in industrial, resources, mining or other mission-critical environments.
n
Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.
n
RPEQ highly advantageous.
n
Australian working rights and current driver's licence required.
