Support the SAP Test Lead by designing, preparing, executing and reporting testing across the SAP S/4HANA program. The role validates functional and end-to-end business processes, integrations, migrated data and defect fixes, while maintaining complete test evidence and traceability.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Review business requirements, process designs, functional specifications and user stories; identify test conditions, dependencies, risks and coverage gaps.
n
Prepare and maintain test scenarios, detailed test cases, test data, expected results, requirements traceability and execution evidence for assigned workstreams.
n
Execute functional, system integration, end-to-end, smoke, regression and exploratory testing; support UAT, cutover rehearsals and post-deployment validation.
n
Validate cross-functional processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Budget-to-Forecast, Asset Lifecycle, Maintenance-to-Completion, Manufacturing-to-Inventory and Project-to-Close.
n
Test S/4HANA integrations with Ariba, OpenText xECM, GEF/GIS, banking, reporting, fleet and other boundary applications, including workflows, interfaces, APIs, batch processing, error handling and reconciliation.
n
Validate migrated master and transactional data, transformation rules, data quality,



control totals and source-to-target reconciliation across migration cycles.
n
Raise clear, reproducible defects with appropriate severity, evidence and business impact; retest fixes, perform regression checks and support defect triage through closure.
n
Support SAP role, authorisation and Segregation of Duties testing; verify Fiori access, business role coverage and audit-ready evidence where assigned.
n
Provide daily execution updates, coverage and defect metrics; escal**ate** blockers, workplace issues, test data constraints and quality risks to the Test Lead.
n
Contribute reusable regression assets and automation candidates, support Tosca script maintenance where applicable, and maintain testing documentation for transition to BAU.

Required Skills and Experience
n
n
6+ years of software testing experience, including at least 2 years supporting SAP implementation, migration or major release programs.
n
Hands-on experience in test analysis, scenario design, test execution, evidence management, defect lifecycle management and SIT/UAT support.
n
Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and practical experience in one or more areas: Finance, Procurement, Ariba, EAM/PM,



Production Planning, Real Estate, EPPM/PPM or Fleet.
n
Experience in integration and data migration testing, including interface validation, reconciliation and root-cause investigation.
n
Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, Jira, Azure DevOps or ALM/Quality Center; Tricentis Tosca and SQL/data validation skills are desirable.
n
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, documentation discipline, stakeholder communication and collaborative problem-solving.
n

Preferred Skills and Experience
n
ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing certification. SAP S/4HANA functional certification, SAP Activate exposure, or experience in government, utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing or other asset-intensive environments is advantageous.
n
