About the role:
n
This role is about leading from the front, creating a culture where staff feel supported, accountable and motivated to perform to a high level. You'll coach and develop your team, manage performance when required and champion protected work practices and ensure every shift operates effectively.
n
We're looking for someone with proven leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills and the confident to lead teams.
n
Your responsibilities will be but are not limited to:
n
n
Lead the night shift production team to achieve operational KPIs across safety, quality, performance, yield, waste and engagement
n
Coach, develop and empower your team to build capability and create a high performing team
n
Work closely with the maintenance team to minimise downtime and resolve production issues
n
Lead and champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with WHS, food safety and regulatory requirements
n
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, QA and site standards
n
Conducting toolbox meetings and shift handovers
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor that support future business growth
n
Analyse operational performance and provide reports and recommendations to management for process improvements
n




Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
n

About you:
n
To succeed in the role, you will require:
n
n
Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment (FMCG or similar high-speed workplace is ideal), with accountability for people, safety and performance outcomes
n
Proven ability to lead from the front and develop your team
n
Strong knowledge of WHS, quality systems and continuous improvement
n
Experience coordinating labour, equipment and production schedules
n
Resilience, adaptability and the ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
n
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
