Due to our continued success and business growth we are looking to addto our Estimating team with aConstruction Estimator to support our sales and production staff.
n
Previous experience in a similar role, Carpentry Trade, Building or Drafting background an advantage but not necessary, training in all estimating software will be provided.

The Role
n
We are searching for a confident, industry-experienced individual who demonstrates the ability to work well within a structured, team-orientated culture.
n
Youwill be exposed to a varied array of residential construction projects where your responsibilities willinclude:
n
Role Responsibilities:
n
Estimating on a wide range of homes including single story, split-level and double-story designs
n
Reading and interpreting construction plans
n




Creation of pre and post-contract variation pricing
n
Work within the key indicators of
anEstimator(accuracy
& efficiency)
n
Compiling preliminary standard pricing and preparing accurate base cost for standard projects.
n
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy andorganizational skills.
n
Construction advice to sales team.
n
The following are preferred, but not essential:
n
Knowledge of Constructionplans, Specifications, Building practices and materials, work and safety standards related toresidential homes.
n
Relevant estimating and or trade experience and qualifications for working on volume and/or custom build projects
n
Experience with estimating software an advantage
n
Excellent communication skills required forboth internal employees and external suppliers and stakeholders
