Silver City Drilling is seeking an experienced and career-driven Warehouse Storeperson to join our team on a permanent full-time basis at our Dalby, Queensland yard.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse while ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory to and from the Dalby Warehouse to support our drilling operations. You will provide day-to-day warehouse support to ensure inventory is accurately received, managed, and dispatched in accordance with Silver City Drilling standards. The role involves inventory control, purchasing support, and maintaining a high standard of safety and housekeeping within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods for accuracy and quality.
n
Unload, unpack, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
n
Conduct regular stocktakes, investigate inventory variances, and process stock adjustments.
n
Accurately process goods receipts,



stock transfer and inventory transactions while maintaining compliance with company inventory control and purchasing procedures.
n
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to drilling rigs.
n
Use the MEX inventory management system to receive, catalogue, locate, and track stock.
n
Obtain supplier quotations and raise purchase orders when required.
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse in accordance with Silver City Drilling's QHS&E; policies and procedures.
n
Work collaboratively with team members to improve warehouse efficiency and processes.
n
Assist with implementing warehouse procedures and inventory controls.
n
Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery discrepancies and product returns.

Qualifications & Experience:
n
n
Proven experience as a Warehouse Storeperson or in a similar warehouse role.
n
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
n
Excellent organisational and time stock & inventory management skills.
n
Experience using inventory management systems (MEX, SAP, or similar) – experience with MEX is advantageous.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, and Excel.
n
A current driver's licence.
n
A current forklift licence with practical operating experience.
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a challenging setting.
n
Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
