Job Description
Ventia have a contract supporting the maintenance of the Millmerran Power Station and Skout Solutions are seeking 3 Riggers to assist for 8 weeks (10.5 hrs work per day) on a Shutdown of the Millmerran Power Station starting 14th September. You will work 5 days per week across atleast 52.5 hours per week with an additional Weekly rural allowance paid of $****** paid weekly. Toowoomba hotel accommodation and bus in and out transportation will be offered to and from Toowoomba (1 hour each way) to the power station daily.

Duties include but are not limited to:
On top of rigging duties required during the outage you will-
n
n
Assist Mechanical trades with Removal and replacement of spools, rollers, wear plates.
n
Work with other TAs and tradesmen to achieve plant performance across various maintenance jobs during the outage;
n
n
What's
required/preferred:
n
n
Atleast 1 year experience Rigging and relevant tickets
n
Mechanical Trade assistance experience is preferred.
n
Working at heights and rigging tickers are essential and confined spaces are preferred
n
A respirator fit test will be conducted onsite- successful applicants must be clean shaven.
n
