We are seeking an experienced National Operations Manager to play a pivotal role across our national network.

This is a hand on role requiring youto travel frequently to various locations to train mentor and develop otherswhilst problem solving and providing alternatives to achieve efficiency andproductivity.
Reporting to the General Manager – Operations / NationalAccounts, this role provides strategic and hands-on support to our StateOperations Teams, helping deliver exceptional project outcomes,operationalefficienciesand sustainable growth.
About the Role
As National Operations Manager, you will partner closelywith operational leaders across Australia to improve projectdelivery,strengthenoperational capabilities and embed best practice throughout thebusiness.
Key responsibilities include:
Operational Performance
Conductpost-project reviews and identify opportunities for improved marginperformance.
Supportoperational teams with project planning, delivery andperformanceimprovement.
Drivefinancial discipline through WIP management, billing accuracy and claimsprocesses.
Assistbranches in achieving revenue, profitability and debtor managementtargets.
Identifyand implement operational efficiency opportunities nationally.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Ensure consistency inoperational processes and project delivery standards.
Drive compliance withquality assurance, ISO and internal operational systems.




Leadnationaloperationalreviews and corrective action programs.
Support customercomplaint resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
Facilitate monthlynational operations meetings.
Leadership, Coaching & Training
Developoperationalcapabilityacross Project Managers, Supervisors and operational teams.
Deliver trainingprograms through the Higgins Training Academy.
Conductoperationalcompetencyassessments and identify development opportunities.
Partner with suppliersand stakeholders to deliver industry-leading operational training.
Coach and mentoroperational leaders to build future capability.
Provide support oncritical and complex projects across the business.
Partner with suppliersto improve service delivery and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support implementationand compliance of supplier service level agreements.
About You
You are a highly credible operational leader with strongcommercial acumen and a passion for developing people andimprovingperformance.
You will ideally bring:
Significant experienceleading operations within construction, coatings, maintenance,facilitiesmanagementor related industries.
Strong projectmanagement and commercial management capability.
Proven ability toinfluence and drive outcomes through others.
Experience coaching anddeveloping operational teams.
Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills.
Excellentstakeholderengagementand communication skills.
High attention to detailand commitment to operational excellence.
Ability to travelnationally as required.
Strong Microsoft Officecapability.
