The Role
n
As a Customer Operations Executive, you'll take end-to-end ownership of customer jobs — booking, coordinating, troubleshooting, and communicating — so patients can receive their life‐changing procedures without delay. You'll be the voice of Smartways for customers, hospitals, drivers, and suppliers every single day. This is a fast‐paced, 24/7 operation, and shifts typically run between 6am–9pm. Potential extra earnings from including rotating roster, on‐call, and occasional weekend availability.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Handling inbound calls and queries from customers, hospitals, suppliers, and drivers
n
Booking, updating, and cancelling orders across phone, email, and chat
n
Monitoring urgent, time‐critical shipments — next flight, patient on table, organs, temperature‐controlled
n
Proactively communicating delays, damages, and risks to all stakeholders
n
Liaising with drivers,



allocators, state coordinators, and freight partners
n
Leading freight recovery processes for missing or damaged goods
n
Contributing to quality improvement projects and process development
n
Accurately entering and maintaining data in Smartways systems
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
2+ years in a customer service, contact centre role or operations team
n
Diploma or higher qualification
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Strong problem‐solving ability and sharp attention to detail
n
Confident working under pressure in a quick‐moving environment
n
Proficient in Microsoft Office and web‐based/ERP systems
n
Logistics experience is a bonus, but not essential
n
