Pegasus Care provides trauma-informed, therapeutic care to children and young people in Out-of-Home Care. Our work is grounded in safety, dignity and consistency, and we place strong emphasis on supporting our staff to deliver high-quality care in a structured and well-supervised setting.

We are currently seeking Therapeutic Youth Workers to support children and young people in Out-of-Home Care homes across Sydney.

About you
n
You are calm, emotionally steady and able to hold boundaries with warmth and consistency. You communicate clearly, work well within a team and are open to feedback. You understand the importance of safety,
predictability and therapeutic relationships in a secure OOHC environment.
n
n
Minimum 6 months paid experience working in Out-of-Home Care.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Minimum Certificate III, IV or Diploma of Community Services
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Understanding of therapeutic, strengths-based and person-centred care
n
ARC therapeutic model training (or willingness to complete)
n
n
Mandatory requirements (or willingness to obtain)
n
n
NSW Working With Children Check
n
National Police Check (less than 12 months)
n
NSW Driver's Licence
n
First Aid and CPR
n
NDIS Orientation Modules
n
Australian working rights
n
Two relevant referees
n
n
