We are currently seeking a Enrolled Nurse to join our team for 3-4 days a week and be available to cover sick and annual leave when required.
n
As a Enrolled Nurse at Singleton Heights Medical Practice, within our busy Treatment room you will be responsible for:
n
n
Administering medications, iron infusions, Aclasta Infusions.
n
Immunisations : NIP, Travel, Yellow fever, Covid
n
Assisting Gp's with minor skin procedures and dressings
n
Care of Pregnant patients both antenatal and post-natal care check ups
n
Performing medicals - Workplace, Insurance, Sporting
n
Perform ECG's, ABIM's, ABI's, Spirometry and pathology collection (blood collection not essential)
n
Assist with triage, data management, diagnostic services, networking with other providers, planning & management of patient care and patient advocacy. Telephone patients with test results as directed by GP's
n
Perform chronic disease management, including monitoring patients with diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions. Mental Health Treatment plans preparation
n
Ensure sterilisation and maintenance of clinical equipment. Maintain stocks of clinical supplies, including correct storage (such as refrigeration)
n

Maintain accurate patient records and assist with data collection for quality improvement initiatives.
n
Supporting GPs. Collaborating with administration and management to ensure productive clinic operations and delivery of high-quality patient care.
n
n
Act within the practice and nursing code of ethics & appropriate level of clinical competence at all times. Maintain awareness of current evidence and research on clinical practices and inform/educate other practice staff. Maintain Registration Education compliance as required by AHPRA.

Requirements:
n
n
Enrolled Nurse qualification with current registration with AHPRA.
n
Current Driver's License
n
Current Working with Children Certificate
n
Current CPR Certificate
n
n
Experience as a Practice Nurse, preferably in a primary care or general practice setting but not essential
n
Experience in general practice and with Best Practice software is advantage but not essential.
n
Understanding of Medicare billing processes and experience in care plan reviews, and health assessments.
n
