Our client is a well-established Australian-owned construction and integrated services business delivering commercial fit-outs, refurbishments, renovations and maintenance projects across corporate, government, public and private sectors.

With a strong reputation for quality, responsiveness and long-term client relationships, they're now looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join the team and take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

The Opportunity
n
This is a hands‐on Project Management role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail and having genuine ownership of their projects.
n
You'll manage the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Managing projects from pre-construction through to handover and close-out
n
Developing budgets, programmes, procurement schedules and project plans
n
Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiations and performance
n
Coordinating trades, consultants, designers and site teams
n
Managing budgets, cash flow, progress claims, variations and EOTs
n
Driving programme, sequencing and critical path activities
n




Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
n
Managing contracts, RFIs, site instructions and project correspondence
n
Driving WHS, quality and environmental standards
n
Managing defects, commissioning and project close‐out
n
Providing clear reporting across programme, cost, risk, safety and quality
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
We're keen to speak with Project Managers from the commercial fit‐out, refurbishment or construction sector who are confident managing projects end-to‐end and enjoy a hands‐on approach to delivery.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Proven experience managing commercial fit‐out, refurbishment or construction projects
n
Solid commercial and financial management skills
n
The ability to manage multiple projects at a time with a quick delivery turnaround
n
Excellent subcontractor and stakeholder management capability
n
Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills
n
A practical, solutions‐focused approach to project delivery
n
A strong understanding of construction processes, quality and WHS
n
n
