Role Summary Delivers day-to-day administration, patching and high-availability operations for the RHEL and VMware estate, including DR orchestration and failover testing for approximately ******** VMs across ~153 physical hosts.

Core Technical Skills

RHEL 6.x/7.x/8.x administration and patch management
n
VMware vSphere, vCenter, DRS, HA, vMotion administration
n
SRM/DR orchestration and failover testing
n
Storage/datastore management and capacity monitoring
n
Scripting and automation (Bash, Ansible, Python)
n
Firmware/BIOS upgrade coordination and hardware health monitoring
n
n
Certifications Mandatory Preferred / Advantageous
n
RHCSA (minimum)



RHCE / Equivalent VMware VCP-DCV or equivalent hands-on VMware experience VMware VCAP-DCV Ansible Automation certification ITIL Foundation
