Experienced Site Manager – Class 2 Residential | Luxury & Apartment Construction

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established construction company delivering high-end Class 2 residential and luxury apartment projects across Sydney.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who takes genuine pride in delivering quality projects and has a strong understanding of the expectations that come with premium residential construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, maintaining programme and safety requirements, and ensuring projects are delivered to an exceptional standard.

You will ideally have 6+ years of construction experience in Australia, with a proven background working across Class 2 residential, apartment developments, luxury residential or high-end construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage the day-to-day construction activities across Class 2 residential and apartment projects.
n
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
n
Manage project programmes, sequencing and site logistics to ensure key milestones are achieved.
n
Maintain a strong focus on quality, workmanship and attention to detail throughout construction.
n
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with plans, specifications, WHS requirements and relevant Australian Standards.
n
Conduct site inspections and proactively identify and resolve construction issues.
n
Work closely with Project Managers,



Contracts Administrators, consultants, architects and clients.
n
Manage site documentation, reporting, QA and safety requirements.
n
Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity and adherence to programme.
n
Maintain a professional and organised site setting while driving high standards across the project.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
6+ years' construction experience in Australia.
n
Proven experience as a Site Manager / Senior Site Supervisor within the Class 2 residential sector.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian construction practices, WHS requirements and quality standards.
n
Excellent subcontractor and trade management skills.
n
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programming and site logistics.
n
Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality.
n
Strong communication and leadership skills.
n
The ability to take ownership of a project and drive it through to successful completion.
n
Relevant construction qualifications and a strong understanding of Class 2 compliance requirements.
