1st Year Apprentice Carpenter – Bathroom Renovations

Tomas Built is a growing bathroom renovation company based on Sydney's Northern Beaches, and we're looking for a 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our team.
n
We're a young, hardworking team specialising in complete bathroom renovations across the Northern Beaches and surrounding areas. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn all aspects of carpentry and residential renovations, rather than doing the same task every day on large construction sites.

What you'll be doing
n
Working alongside qualified carpenters and experienced trades, you'll be involved in the complete renovation process, including:
n
Demolition and strip‐outs
n
Wall, floor and ceiling framing
n
Installing structural and wet‐area flooring
n
Wall and ceiling sheeting
n
Hanging doors and installing architraves
n
Installing shaving cabinets, vanities and bathroom fixtures
n
General carpentry and finishing work
n
Site preparation and organisation
n
Working alongside plumbers, electricians, tilers and other trades
n
Learning how complete bathroom renovations are run from start to finish
n
As you develop, gaining exposure to job organisation,



client communication and project management
n
We want someone who is keen to become a well‐rounded carpenter and renovator, not just an extra pair of hands.
n
What we're looking for:
n
1st Year Carpentry Apprentice or someone ready to begin their apprenticeship
n
Must have full working rights in Australia – no overseas applicants
n
Own reliable vehicle
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Hardworking with a good attitude
n
Willing to learn and take direction
n
Takes pride in their work
n
Comfortable working as part of a young team
n
A work vehicle may be provided to the right applicant within the next few months.
