Job description About the Prospect Our client is seeking an experienced Grants Manager / Project Manager to lead the development, delivery and governance of strategic Industry Investment Programs.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting programs that drive economic growth and industry development, ensuring funding initiatives are delivered effectively, transparently and in line with government objectives.Reporting into senior leadership, you will provide strategic advice on grants administration, financial assistance programs, procurement and contracting, while contributing to broader business planning, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Grants Manager / Project Manager, you will: Lead the end-to-end development, implementation, delivery and ongoing management of Industry Investment Programs.
Ensure programs are aligned with strategic government and agency objectives.
Provide expert advice on grants administration, procurement, contracting, financial assistance arrangements and financial management.
Develop and maintain governance, risk and compliance frameworks to support program delivery.
Contribute to business planning activities, performance monitoring and reporting.
Design and implement policies, procedures and tools that support effective program administration and continuous improvement.
Support the review, monitoring and close-out of grant-funded projects.
Conduct financial and compliance reviews to ensure funding agreements and reporting obligations are met.
Identify opportunities for program reform, collaboration, consolidation and process improvement.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.




Represent the organisation in consultations, negotiations and discussions with key stakeholders, including legal representatives where required.
Skills ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Significant experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of industry development programs and/or policy initiatives.
Significant management-level experience delivering financial assistance programs, including grants and/or loans.
Strong experience managing complex financial and commercial contracts.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, risk management and accountability frameworks.
Key skills and experience sought include: Auditing background highly regarded Grant management and/or project management experience Strong compliance, financial review and reporting capabilities Experience reviewing funding agreements, acquittals and project reporting requirements Ability to apply sound financial oversight and compliance principles across grant-funded programs Experience supporting the close-out and ongoing management of grant projects What's on Offer?
