Staff Specialist Cardiologist – Non-Interventional | 1.0 FTE The position is suited to a non-interventional Cardiologist seeking a broad clinical role across inpatient and outpatient cardiology services.
Key aspects of the role include: Management of a broad range of acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions Delivery of outpatient cardiology clinics and inpatient consultation services Assessment and management of patients presenting with heart failure, arrhythmias, ischaemic heart disease and other general cardiology conditions Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and referral networks for patients requiring tertiary or interventional cardiac services Contribution to clinical governance, quality improvement and service development Teaching, supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff and trainees This role offers the opportunity to maintain a broad general cardiology practice while contributing to the continued development of specialist services within a well-supported regional health service.
