Our philosophy is that every person should be afforded dignity and respect and that no one should be without a safe, affordable, and secure home.
We provide services and supports to adults, and families with accompanying children in the form of accommodation, case management, assertive outreach, financial assistance, community connection and referral services.
Foley House is a supported accommodation program in Footscray that provides housing and community support to 45 single men experiencing homelessness and complex challenges, including trauma, mental health concerns, AOD issues, chronic health conditions, and social disadvantage.
About the role As a Case Manager for Foley House , you will be a part of a collaborative team, you will use person-centred and capacity-building approaches to support residents in improving their health, well-being, independence, and quality of life.

Reporting to the Homelessness Manager, this is a fixed-term full-time position, contracted until end of December ****, based on-site in Foley House located in Footscray, VIC.
Conditions Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Award - Level 5.
How you will make an impact Provide trauma-informed, strengths-based support that empowers residents to achieve their goals and build independence Develop trusted relationships, advocate for residents, and connect them with services that enhance their wellbeing and community participation Promote a secure, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment that respects the rights, dignity, and choices of every resident Assess and manage risk while supporting residents through complex challenges in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and teamwork to contribute to high-quality service delivery and positive resident outcomes What you will bring Tertiary degree in Psychology, Mental Health or related discipline, Social Work preferred Minimum Diploma qualification in Community Services, AOD, Mental Health or related discipline A current VIC Driver's Licence A current Employee Working with Children Check Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 What we offer The Salvos offer eligible employee's a well-balanced package of meaningful benefits including: Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free + $2,650 meal entertainment benefit Generous Paid Parental leave for primary (12 weeks)
