The Venue Rosie Campbell's is located in the heart of Surry Hills, seconds away from Oxford street.
We have a heavy focus on live music, with 3 live nights a week in our intimate space of 75 seats.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to join our team and take an active role in managing our bar and front-of-house operations.
This role would be suited for an energetic and passionate person who wants to work in a busy venue.

The Role As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the bar and support the Venue Manager in maintaining efficient, compliant and customer-focused operations.
You will be responsible for supervising and training staff, coordinating rosters, managing stock and wastage, assisting with cost control, overseeing cash handling and ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
The role also involves coordinating functions, maintaining venue presentation and ensuring effective communication between bar, front-of-house and kitchen staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Ensure staff comply with liquor licensing requirements.
Supervise and train bar and front-of-house staff.
Coordinate and monitor staff rosters in line with trading requirements and wage budgets.
Assist management with budgeting, projections and cost control.
Oversee and maintain appropriate bar stock levels and record wastage.
Ensure the safe and secure handling of cash.
Implement and maintain workplace health and safety practices and procedures.
Coordinate functions and liaise with function patrons as required.
Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the bar.
Maintain effective communication between bar operations, management and the Head Chef.
Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
About You The ideal candidate will have: Experience in bar or hospitality operations.
Knowledge of liquor licensing, workplace health and safety and food safety requirements.
Strong staff supervision and training skills.
Good time-management and organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Sound computer literacy.
A professional, reliable and trustworthy approach.
A positive attitude and strong interest in the hospitality industry.
