LO-GO Appointments is currently seeking an experienced WHS Advisor to support a Queensland Local Government organisation for a 3 month assignment in North Queensland.
The role will support the team during a period of increased operational activity and provide WHS advice and support across the organisation while contributing to compliance, risk management and safety improvement initiatives.
About You: Relevant Work Health Safety qualifications (min Cert IV) Demonstrated experience in a WHS Advisor, Safety Advisor or similar role Strong understanding of WHS legislation and risk management principles Experience conducting investigations and supporting return-to-work processes Experience in the use of Safety Management Systems Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Experience in Local Government or similiar regulated setting will be highly regarded C Class Drivers Licence To be considered, applicants must hold unrestricted working rights in Australia.
