About the Role
n
We're seeking a Senior Bubble Developer to own day-to-day development and support of our live Bubble app, and to lead the migration of workflows into APIs. This hybrid role blends no-code delivery with modern engineering practices, and you'll be the person shaping our transition to a React + API architecture — building both sides of it.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

Bubble Development & Support
n
n
Design, build, and maintain scalable applications on Bubble's visual platform
n
Implement complex workflows, secure data models, and features such as authentication, payments, and data visualisation
n
Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces for desktop and mobile
n
Collaborate with designers to turn Figma designs into production-ready UI
n
Monitor performance, resolve issues, and keep the app current with platform updates
n
n




API Integration & Migration
n
n
Build and consume custom APIs and integrate with our backend
n
Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient handling of data
n
Monitor, test, and optimise API performance
n
n
Collaboration & Delivery
n
n
Work in agile sprints with PMs, designers, and backend engineers
n
Communicate clearly with stakeholders and resolve blockers quickly
n
Contribute to architectural decisions and maintain documentation
n
n
Technical Expertise
n
n
4+ years of hands‐on commercial Bubble development — workflows, backend/API workflows, database privacy rules, plugins, integrations, and testing
n
Experience diagnosing and resolving performance and workload-unit issues on a live app
n
Strong REST API integration skills, including authentication and error handling
n
Working knowledge of security, data privacy, and compliance obligations, including the Australian Privacy Act and APPs
n

Professional Approach

Self-managed and delivery-focused in agile environments

Comfortable mentoring and sharing knowledge across the team
