Fleet Operations Coordinator - Fluent in English and Mandarin

New Way Logistics is a fast-growing Australian logistics company specialising in third-party warehousing and transportation solutions.As our business continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our Sydney branch.
n
Driver / Fleet Coordination
n
Coordinate driver rosters, daily task allocation and operational requirements.
n
Monitor driver attendance, performance and compliance with company procedures.
n
Assist with driver training, documentation and ongoing compliance requirements.
n
Coordinate vehicle availability, maintenance requirements and operational issues.
n
Operations & Dispatch
n
Coordinate daily transport schedules, vehicle allocation and delivery operations.
n
Communicate with customers, drivers and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
n
Monitor delivery progress and assist with delays, breakdowns and other operational issues.
n
Update operational systems and ensure transport information is recorded accurately and on time.
n
Warehouse Coordination
n
Coordinate daily warehouse activities, workflow and labour requirements.
n
Assist with monitoring warehouse productivity, work quality, inventory accuracy and site standards.
n
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders, receiving, dispatch and other warehouse activities are completed on time.
n
Ensure warehouse safety, housekeeping and operational procedures are followed.
n
Team & Site Coordination
n
Coordinate daily activities between warehouse and transport teams, including casual and temporary workers.
n
Assist with staff allocation, attendance monitoring and day-to-day operational support.
n
Provide clear instructions and practical support to staff to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
n
Work closely with Management, Sales,



Customer Service, Finance and HR to support overall business operations.
n
Experience
n
Previous experience in warehouse operations, transport operations, logistics or 3PL is preferred.
n
Experience in vehicle scheduling, transport dispatch or logistics coordination is highly regarded.
n
Experience working with warehouse or transport teams is preferred.
n
Candidates with strong operational experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
n
Licences & Practical Skills
n
Current Forklift Licence is highly preferred.
n
Heavy Vehicle Licence is highly regarded.
n
Willing to be hands-on and actively involved in warehouse and transport operations when required.
n
Valuable understanding of day-to-day logistics, warehouse and transport operations.
n
Other Skills
n
Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
n
Able to work with different types of staff and communicate instructions clearly.
n
Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
n

Work Location: Wetherill Park, Sydney NSW
n
Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; 1-hour lunch break
