I'm currently seeking experienced Industrial Painters, Blasters and Painter/Blasters to join leading manufacturing, fabrication and industrial maintenance companies across Newcastle.
n
These opportunities involve working on large-scale mining, industrial and structural equipment in professional workshop environments, with both ongoing positions and project-based work available.
n

Up to $56 per hour + penalties, depending on project and experience

Workshop-based opportunities in Tomago and Newcastle
n
Overtime and Saturday work available

Work with experienced teams across major mining and industrial equipment

About the Role
n
You will be responsible for a range of industrial painting and blasting duties, including:
n
n
Abrasive blasting and surface preparation
n
Industrial spray painting and protective coating application
n




Preparing steel and fabricated components to specification
n
Working on large mining and industrial equipment
n
Ensuring all work meets quality and safety requirements
n
Following site procedures and WHS requirements
n

About You
n

To be successful, you will have:

Previous industrial painting and/or abrasive blasting experience

Strong understanding of surface preparation and coating systems
n
A robust commitment to safety and quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Reliable work ethic and willingness to work overtime when available
