Afternoon Shift Injection Moulding Technician

This role sits within an automated injection moulding operation running IML and robotics. The afternoon shift needs a moulder who can keep it running — setting, correcting and keeping machines producing, and picking up a process that starts to drift before it turns into scrap.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Setting up, adjusting and optimising injection moulding machines across the shift
n
Troubleshooting processing faults and correcting them on the floor
n
Supporting tool changes and changeovers
n
Monitoring quality, output and machine performance through the shift
n
Working alongside operators to keep standards consistent
n
Handing over cleanly to night shift and flagging anything unresolved
n

Automated injection moulding and in-mould labelling, with robotics and camera inspection through the plant

What We're Looking For
n
Solid hands-on injection moulding experience — setting, processing and fault-finding
n
Confident diagnosing and correcting processing issues on the floor
n
Someone the operators can come to when a machine isn't right
n
Exposure to IML, robotics or high-speed packaging is a real advantage
n
Steady and reliable on a permanent afternoon roster
n
Full Australian working rights and currently based in Australia
n
