We're working with a highly regarded multidisciplinary design consultancy that is growing its Physical Security team and looking for a Security Consultant to join the business. Please note this is not cyber security.

We are looking for Engineers in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a security skilled looking to work on major, complex projects across sectors including data centres, commercial, healthcare, transport, education and infrastructure.
n
The Role
n
You'll be involved throughout the design and delivery process, working closely with architects, engineers, clients and other specialist consultants to develop practical and technically sound security solutions.
n
Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities will include:
n
n
Developing physical security strategies, concepts and detailed designs
n
Security risk assessments and threat assessments
n
Developing security specifications, reports and technical documentation
n
Designing CCTV, access control, intercom, intrusion detection and other electronic security systems
n
Developing security system schematics, layouts and design documentation
n
Coordinating across all disciplines
n
Working with clients and project stakeholders to understand security requirements
n
Supporting projects through construction, commissioning and handover
n
n




About You
n
We're interested in speaking with Security Consultants from Intermediate through to Senior level, generally with 3–10 years of relevant experience.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Experience in physical security consulting, security design or electronic security
n
Strong knowledge of security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and intercom
n
Experience producing security design documentation and technical reports
n
An understanding of relevant Australian Standards and security design principles
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
n
