Job Description
Full-time pathway available for the right person
n
Quest Physio Chermside
n Chermside, Brisbane QLD
n Physiotherapy, OT & Rehabilitation
n Part-time
n $80,000 – $120,000 full-time equivalent, depending on experience
n For a three-day role, this equates to approximately $48,000 – $72,000 pro-rata, plus super.
n
Australian residents only. You must have full working rights in Australia. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
n
Want a physio role with real variety, trusted autonomy and room to grow?
n
Quest Physio Chermside is looking for an experienced physiotherapist to join our team in a part-time role, with the option to grow into full-time for the right person.
n
This role would suit a clinician who enjoys working independently, communicates clearly, and feels confident managing a varied caseload across private MSK, NDIS, WorkCover Queensland, CTP, DVA, aged care and Medicare referrals.
n
You'll need to be comfortable working as the only clinician on site during some sessions, including Mondays and evening clinics. But that doesn't mean you're on your own.
n
You'll be joining a team that values good clinical reasoning, professional trust, clear systems and genuine support.
n
If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership of your clinical day without being micromanaged, this could be a strong fit.
n
About the role
n
This is a part-time physiotherapy position based at our Chermside clinic.
n
The role is currently three fixed days per week, including Mondays and evening clinic hours. There is a genuine pathway to increase into full-time work as caseload demand grows.
n
You'll work across a broad and interesting mix of presentations and funding streams, including:
n
n
Private MSK
n
NDIS
n
CTP
n
DVA
n
Aged care
n
n
This means your week will have variety.
n
You may be helping one person recover from a work injury, supporting another person with long-term function, and helping someone else build confidence after pain or injury.
n
Because some sessions involve independent work, this role is best suited to a physiotherapist who is already comfortable making sound clinical decisions, managing their own list, communicating clearly and documenting properly.
n
You won't be expected to know everything. No clinician does.
n
But you will need to be settled enough in your clinical reasoning to work safely, calmly and professionally when you're the only clinician on site.
n
You're a physiotherapist who enjoys being trusted to do good work.
n
You don't need someone watching over every decision, but you do value positive systems, thoughtful colleagues and a team that cares about doing things properly.
n
What you'll be doing
n
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
n
n
Delivering one-on-one physiotherapy consultations across a mixed caseload
n
Assessing, treating and progressing patients with clear clinical reasoning
n
Creating practical treatment plans that patients can understand and follow
n
Supporting people with education, movement, exercise and self-management strategies
n
Writing accurate clinical notes, reports and treatment plans
n
Managing your clinical day independently during some sessions
n
Communicating with referrers, support coordinators, insurers and other providers where needed
n
Collaborating with the wider Quest team when you are not working solo
n
Contributing to a clinic culture built on care, accountability and continuous improvement
n
n
What you'll get at Quest
n
The role is paid at $80,000 – $120,000 full time equivalent, depending on experience.
n
For a three-day role, this equates to approximately $48,000 – $72,000 pro-rata, plus super.
n
Real clinical variety
n
You'll work across private MSK, NDIS, WorkCover Queensland, CTP, DVA, aged care and Medicare referrals.
n
This is not a role where you'll see the same simple presentation on repeat all day.
n
Autonomy without isolation
n
You'll be trusted to manage your own clinical day, including some solo sessions.
n
At the same time, you'll have access to a supportive team, clear systems and colleagues who want to hear how things are going.
n
A genuine pathway to full-time
n
This role starts part-time, but there is real potential to grow into a full-time position as caseload demand increases.
n
If you're the right fit and want more hours over time, there is room to build that pathway together.
n
Time to think, plan and develop
n
We value positive clinical reasoning, clear documentation and sustainable practice.
n
You'll have dedicated non-clinical time to support planning, notes, professional development and recovery between clinical demands.
n
Access to our boutique gym and clinical equipment
n
You'll have access to our gym space and clinical tools, including MAT measuring tools, to support quality assessment and treatment.
n
A team that values people, not just numbers
n
We care about outcomes, communication and helping people feel more capable.
n
That applies to our patients, and it applies to our team.
n
What Quest is about
n
Quest exists to help people understand, trust and use their bodies in ways that matter to them.
n
Sometimes that means reducing pain.
n
Sometimes it means rebuilding strength, confidence or independence.
n
Sometimes it means helping someone keep doing the things they value, even when life or health has become more complicated.
n
Our clinicians are expected to care about the person, not just the presentation.
n
That means we value:
n
n
Practical treatment plans
n
Good documentation
n
n
We're not looking for someone who wants to rush people through appointments or follow a script.
n
We're looking for someone who wants to do thoughtful, useful work with a team that takes the job seriously without taking itself too seriously.
n
This role may not suit you if
n
This probably is not the right role if:
n
n
You're looking for close daily supervision
n
You are not comfortable working independently during some sessions
n
You prefer a narrow or repetitive caseload
n
You dislike documentation, reports or structured treatment planning
n
You are looking for visa sponsorship
n
You want a role where someone else manages every part of your clinical day
n
n
That's not a criticism.
n
It just means this role needs a particular type of clinician.
n
This role may suit you if
n
This could be a strong fit if you want:
n
n
A part-time role with meaningful responsibility
n
A wide-ranging caseload that keeps you thinking
n
A clinic that trusts you to manage your own day
n
A team that supports you without micromanaging you
n
A role that can grow into full-time work
n
A workplace where care, communication and clinical reasoning matter
n
n
You'll likely be a good fit if you:
n
n
Are AHPRA-registered as a physiotherapist
n
Have full working rights in Australia
n
Have at least 1–2 years of post-graduate physiotherapy experience
n
Have solid musculoskeletal experience
n
Are comfortable managing a mixed caseload
n
Can work independently during some sessions
n
Communicate clearly with patients, referrers and the team
n
Write clear, timely clinical notes and treatment plans
n
Are self-reflective, coachable and interested in improving over time
n
Build rapport quickly and genuinely care about the person in front of you
n
Want to help people leave more capable, informed and confident than when they arrived
n
n
You don't need to be the finished product.
n
You do need to be clinically safe, reliable, thoughtful and willing to keep growing.
