A Junior Construction Site Surveyor / Steel Detailer role responsible for performing various site surveying and drafting tasks to support the drafting team and project requirements.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Learn and use the Trimble Robotic Total Station
n
Perform site surveying and as-built documentation of existing steel beams, columns, walls and floors using the total station
n
Provide DWG files of as-built surveys
n
Site set out of anchors and holding down bolts to high accuracy (+/- 3mm)
n
Use gathered information to shop detail small structural items
n




Provide shop drawings and sketches for fabrication and installation using Tekla Structures
n
Report as required to the Project Management Team
n
About you
n
Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
n
Robust attention to detail
n
Knowledge of reading construction drawings
n
Previous tech drawing experience
n
Familiar with construction sites
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Valid driver's licence
n
Valid NSW Workcover white card
n
Understanding of construction practices in theory
