About the prospect
n
Join Bolton Clarke in a newly elevated commercial leadership role supporting a large and complex technology environment. Reporting to the Director of Technology, you'll play a critical role in shaping commercial strategy, influencing significant technology investment decisions and driving value across a diverse portfolio of technology vendors and partners.

In this role, you'll bring structure, discipline and commercial insight to a complex ICT portfolio, ensuring vendor partnerships, budgets and procurement activity are aligned to organisational priorities and deliver measurable value.

Key activities
n
n
Lead commercial strategy and contract negotiations across a diverse technology vendor portfolio.
n
Influence major technology investment decisions through budgeting, forecasting and financial insight.
n
Build high-performing vendor partnerships that deliver value, innovation and service excellence.
n
Drive financial governance and commercial risk management across Information Systems.
n
Partner with senior stakeholders to optimise technology spend and commercial outcomes.
n
Identify opportunities to improve procurement, contract management and operational efficiency.
n

About you
n
You're a commercially minded leader who enjoys influencing decisions, negotiating outcomes and creating value through strong vendor, procurement and financial management.
n
You may come from ICT procurement,
technology commercial management, vendor management, finance business partnering or a related commercial role. What will set you apart is your ability to combine commercial acumen with relationship-building, strategic thinking and the confidence to influence outcomes in a complex environment.

We would love to hear from you if you have:
n
n
Experience leading commercial, procurement, vendor management or financial activity in a large, complex organisation.
n
Exposure to IS/ICT operational budgets, financial planning, forecasting or performance reporting.
n
Strong capability in vendor contract negotiation, renewal management and supplier relationship performance.
n
Confidence interpreting financial information and using insights to support governance, controls and commercial decision-making.
n
Understanding of procurement processes, accounts payable workflows, compliance requirements and operational risk.
n
Relevant qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce, Law, Procurement, Contract Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
