Betta Produce Burpengaryis looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Store Person/Sales Assistant to join our family-owned business.

About the role:
n
This is a casual position working ***** hours a week including Saturdays with the potential to become full time. Working as a part of our close-knit team your day will include:
n
n
Physical Lifting: loading bags of stockfeed, chaff and bales of hay into customers vehicles
n
Exceptional customer service: providing expert advice on stock feeds and supplements, small animal feeds and accessories and gardening supplies
n
Stock management: monitoring stock levels, receiving shipments from our suppliers, forklift duties as required, restocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness.

The person we are looking for:




n
n
Experience: previous warehousing/retail experience ideally within the rural merchandise or pet industry and a robust interest in animals and pets is a must.
n
Personality: this candidate must have an outgoing personality, friendly disposition and tidy appearance with a strong work ethic, common sense and keen attention to detail.
n
Physical fitness: the ability to lift *****kg bags is a necessity as manual handling of stock is a day-to-day task of this position.
n
License: a forklift license is preferred but not essential.
