Job Description
This is an exciting role offering end-to-end ownership of the tax function across a diverse portfolio of businesses. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will be the go-to person for all matters relating to tax compliance, reporting and advisory, providing a genuine prospect to make the role your own and establish best-practice processes within a complex corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the preparation and lodgement of all direct and indirect tax obligations
n
Oversee income tax, GST, FBT and other statutory reporting requirements
n
Coordinate tax provisions and reporting for month-end and year-end processes
n
Provide practical tax advice to finance and operational stakeholders
n
Support business initiatives, acquisitions and strategic projects from a tax perspective
n
Manage relationships with external advisors and relevant authorities
n
Identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes and strengthen controls
n
n
About You
n
n
CA, CPA or CTA qualified
n
Proven experience in Australian corporate tax within either industry or skilled services
n
Strong understanding of tax compliance, reporting and advisory matters
n
Ability to work independently and take ownership of a broad tax portfolio
n
Commercial mindset with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
n
