As we continue to grow and evolve as a business, we are seeking a systems and process minded Finance Systems & Process Manager for a 12 month fixed term contract, who brings that same dedication to precision into our financial operations.
n
In this hands-on, autonomous role, you will lead the Finance work stream for Phase 2 of our NetSuite implementation and review our end-to-end workflows to design, build, and pilot lasting AI and automation solutions from scratch.

THE ROLE
n
n
NetSuite Phase 2 (Finance Workstream): Lead the implementation from a Finance perspective, owning Finance's requirements, testing, and rollout as functionality transitions over from Cin7. You will identify scope requirements (reporting, budgeting, dashboards), flag risks, own post-go-live data integrity/reconciliations, and train the wider Finance team on new system processes.

Process Review & Automation: Review existing finance processes end to end. Design, build, and pilot AI-enabled or automated solutions (including using Claude, Python, or similar tools) to eliminate repetitive, manual tasks like reporting packs, data consolidation, and reconciliations support.

Legacy & Handover: Ensure all automated workflows (with a goal of automating 3–4 priority processes during the contract) are robustly documented and handed over so they provide lasting efficiency beyond the length of your contract.

Team Support & Governance:



Act as a practical champion for AI adoption, actively participate in the Finance AI working group, and provide GL coding and process guidance to the wider accounting team.

ABOUT YOU
n
n
Experience: 5 to 8 years in finance roles with a strong focus on systems, processes, or continuous improvement.
n
Systems Implementation: Experience working through or supporting an ERP implementation or major systems change.
n
Automation Capability: Proven hands-on experience building or implementing automation or AI-enabled workflows (ideally using Claude, Python, or similar tools).
n
Technical Accounting: Solid understanding of accounting principles, GL coding, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
n
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, and a CA/CPA qualification (or actively progressing toward it).
n
Attributes: A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to understand how a process works before redesigning it. You must be comfortable operating with ambiguity across concurrent systems and automation streams, and able to hit the ground running.

Experience in retail, inventory-based, or multi-channel business environments.
