About the Role
n
As a Wash Room Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining hygiene and food safety standards within a busy production environment. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Wash tubs, trays, and production equipment using industrial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods
n




Ensure all cleaned items meet strict food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
n
Perform repetitive handling and lifting of lightweight tubs and equipment throughout the shift
n
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the washroom and surrounding work areas
n
Manage daily cleaning schedules and workload requirements with minimal supervision
n
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
n
Report any damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or hygiene issues to supervisors
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience in a washroom, cleaning, food manufacturing, warehousing, or similar production environment
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and food safety standards
n
The physical fitness required for repetitive lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods
n
A reliable and punctual work ethic
n
The ability to work independently with limited supervision
n
Good organisational and time management skills
n
n
