The Opportunity
n
An exciting chance is available for an experienced Finance Operations Controller to take ownership of a high-volume finance function within a rapidly growing Australian business.
n
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in managing daily financial operations while helping improve systems, reporting and processes across the business.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys pace, accountability and finding better ways of doing things.
n
The Role
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Own daily settlements, including allocation and distribution of funds
n
Manage trust and bank reconciliations
n
Prepare management reporting, cash flow and operational KPIs
n
Develop unit costing and support cost efficiency initiatives
n
Drive automation and process improvements across finance
n




Manage recovery invoicing and accounts receivable
n
Oversee accounts payable and payment runs
n
Provide financial analysis and operational support to the CFO
n
Identify opportunities to improve controls, workflows and reporting
n
Work closely with the CFO and wider executive leadership team
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
5+ years' experience across finance operations, trust accounting, banking or high-volume transactional finance
n
Strong experience managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
n
Exposure to FP&A; and management reporting
n
Experience improving or automating finance systems and processes
n
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
n
Confidence working in a regulated or trust-based environment
n
A proactive approach to process improvement
n
CA/CPA qualification is desirable but not essential
n
